Chapter one ends with him jumping in the canoe to go to another island, right? So why didn't he just jump in the canoe and fish with everyone else??!
Anyway, I'm glad he found Kivi and I hope he finds new friends where he is going. The kids on the old island are not very nice!! Let's read chapter two and find out if he finds new friends!!

i dont think that island is tahiti it is probably a cannibal island but i hope he does not get eaten and i wonder what happened to uri.
I don't think it's Tahiti either! I'm so glad Uri found him at the end of the chapter! I can't believe he swam right by a shark! Yikes! I love the way the author describes the sky on page 25: "black sky spangled with unguessed millions of stars."
I think when he wakes up he will search for food and fresh water! Coconut, maybe? Bananas?
that was so brave of him to go and steal the spear head from the cannibals i probably would have screamed then fainted! :D but i think he should really hurry up on making the canoe and getting out of there because i have a feeling those people on the other island are cannibals and i think they are coming soon.
I agree, Karim!! There is no way I would have touched that spear so quickly!!
