Chapter 5- Homeward

This book is so exciting! He's killed a shark, a wild boar, and an octopus; and now the cannibals are on the island! The chapter is called "Homeward" so I think he will easily escape and go home! (I hope!)

Chapter 3 The Island

I am very impressed with everything Mafatu accomplished!! He found food, climbed a volcano, treated his wound (with lime juice-OW!!), stole the spear, started a fire, and started to build a shelter. I can't wait to see what he does next! I hope he has luck killing the wild pig; they are very dangerous!! Will the cannibals come back and see him with the spear? Yikes!!
